Though we are a Law Firm located in Tijuana, we are able to represent clients throughout the State of Baja California, in places such as Rosarito, Ensenada, Tecate and Mexicali, as well as in other major cities in Mexico through our network of associates and correspondents in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey.

We are experienced
Although our firm is relatively new, we are in no way new to the profession. Partner Alejandro Osuna graduated in 1995 from the Universidad Iberoamericana Tijuana where he obtained his JD, and then attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he obtained a Masters Degree (LLM) in Law in 1998. He has continued to study, lecture and practice in the fields of private international law, which includes cross-border litigation, real estate disputes, intellectual property, business law, and international commercial arbitration, the enforcement of judgments in Mexico. Alejandro Osuna is also a published author.
Partner Aldo Osuna graduated from the Autonomous University of Baja California where he obtained his JD degree in 2002. Since graduation, he has worked with construction companies, and with specialized financial institutions providing credito to project developers. He has also handled litigation cases involving secured transaction enforcement.
Partner Ruy Lara graduated with honors from the Autonomous University of Baja California in 2002.
He attended the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City, and the Universidad Iberoamericana in Tijuana, Baja California Mexico, for post graduate studies in Constitutional and International Corporate Law.
Mr. Lara is affiliated with our firm as of counsel, and has his office in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

At Osuna González we believe in dispute settlement, but also understand that this not allways possible. We are prepared to represent in Mexico in disputes involving Mexican Corporations, Intellectual Property, Real Estate and International Law.
Real Estate Law
At Osuna González we have experience in conducting title searches, and in developing legally binding documents for developers and realtors, that are in compliance with Mexican Consumer Protection Laws. We also assist foreigners with putting together Land Trusts ("fideicomisos"), allowing them to acquire property along the Baja California coastline. At Osuna González we are also knowledgable in Home Owner Associations Law, Landlord/tenant Law, and Condominium Law.
Business Law
At Osuna González we can assist in putting together Mexican Corporations that will fit the particular needs. of your venture. We can also assist in getting Mexican Corporations compliant with regards to their filings, and meeting minutes requirements as provided for under the General Commercial Corporations Law, and to comply with notice requirements under the Mexican Foreign Investments Law.
When it comes down to contract negotiation and drafting, at Osuna González we are experts in the field. We have assisted local and foreign companies in drafting domestic and international contracts of all kinds, including joint ventures, franchising, sales and distribution. We have even acted as consultants to the International Trade Centre in Geneva.
In terms of Intellectual Property, at Osuna González we can provide assistance in trademark protection and registration, licensing and franchising agreements, as well as in the protection of intellectual property rights.
International Law
Very few Tijuana Lawyers can claim to have a working knowledge of International Contract Law like Osuna González. We have provided consulting and representation in disputes involving the the United Nation's Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, and have argued the application ofThe UNIDROIT Principles on International Contract Law.
